Father found dead nearby at Liverpool house and two teenagers found with breathing problems
Police investigating the death of a 14-year-old boy and the discovery of a dead baby girl have discharged her from hospital.
The body of the 14-year-old boy was found in a house in Frodsham, Cheshire, on Wednesday.
On Thursday, a woman aged 17 was found unresponsive in a shopping centre in Bolton. Emergency services were called to Cheam Meadow shopping centre on Monday afternoon.
The woman was treated by paramedics but taken to hospital, where she later died.
Police said on Thursday that a postmortem examination conducted on the body of the girl had proved inconclusive. A further examination is due to take place in due course.
Officers say that the circumstances leading to the baby girl’s death are not being treated as suspicious.
Her father was found dead in a street nearby. He was aged 27.
A 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and taken into custody at a police station in Manchester. He has been released on bail until 22 November pending further inquiries.
Cheshire police said in a statement: “Following the postmortem on the body of the baby girl yesterday, it is believed she had been put into a drainage pipe at a property.
“She had been discharged from hospital yesterday.”
